2019 SUMMER CRAWDAD Camps
The Fieldhouse is holding a 4-day long baseball/softball clinic. Sessions are 4 hours each day and are held at The Fieldhouse. Focus is on correct repetitions to improving your swing, your defense, and throwing mechanics. Daily conditioning drills will be conducted to get warmed up and prepared for a full day. These camps are designed for all skill levels, providing each player has a desire to get better each day! All attendees will have fun, learn some stuff, and become a better athlete and player!

Ages 8 - 14:
Instructors: FIELDHOUSE INSTRUCTORS, AND CURRENT COLLEGE Players
Possible guest instructors that are current and former college and professional players and coaches.
.Hitting: Focus on live batting practice and repetitive drills to create proper body movements. Lots of swings and instruction!
Conditioning: Introduce good warm up routines and habits and combine with fun conditioning drills, including obstacle course.
Defense: Focus on backhands, forehands, consistent footwork for all infield and outfield positions. Defensive drills, lots of ground balls, fly balls, and wall ball will be used as instruction tools. Catching will also be included if there is a demand and will be taught proper setup, framing, blocking, and throwing techniques.
Pitching: Pitchers will be taught how to use core muscle groups and proper throwing mechanics to avoid arm injury and increase velocity. (Softball instructor will be available)
Simulated hitters vs pitchers, plus whiffle ball games!!.
Space is limited to keep a small group instruction atmosphere and offer personal feedback which allow players to put concepts into practice as our instructors share their experiences and knowledge. All players attending should bring their own bats, gloves, and helmets.
